Le opere di Ornella Ogliari sono immerse in quel luogo a lei familiare, conosciuto ma in continuo mutamento, un luogo che accompagna sempre i suoi pensieri e meditazioni un “piccolo mondo antico” che spesso sorprende per la sua capacità di essere sempre diverso, vivo e originale, dove ogni ombra è unica e irripetibile, dove l’immensità del suo essere, plasma come creta l’attimo impresso sulla tela.

Immersa in questo mondo, Ornella Ogliari ci parla di mondi paralleli, di realtà alternative in cui tutto ruota secondo una direzione costruita nella propria coscienza, modellata con sapiente abilità e trasferita sulla tela attraverso il “sentire” il colore tra le dita che scivolando dà vita alla sua natura, all’io natura. Le sue opere sono racconti silenziosi che ci propongono una riflessione profonda di ciò che vogliamo e possiamo, una natura descritta che si fa interiore e muta e in quei silenzi noi costruiamo, come una meravigliosa sinfonia, i nostri mondi paralleli.

Ornella Ogliari’s works are immersed in that place familiar to her, known but constantly changing, a place that always accompanies her thoughts and meditations, a “small ancient world” that often surprises with its ability to always be different, alive and original, where every shadow is unique and unrepeatable, where the immensity of its being shapes the moment imprinted on the canvas like clay.

Immersed in this world, Ornella Ogliari talks to us about parallel worlds, about alternative realities in which everything rotates according to a direction built in one’s own conscience, modeled with wise skill and transferred onto the canvas through “feeling” the color between the fingers which, sliding, gives life to his nature, to the ego nature. Her works are silent stories that offer us a profound reflection of what we want and can, a described nature that becomes interior and mute and in those silences we build, like a wonderful symphony, our parallel worlds.

Ascoltando l’Artista nel presentare le sue opere sembra intravedere un battito di ali, inquiete per la repentinità del tempo che tutto cambia e appagate per l’alito di libertà soffiato dalla vita.

Se si volesse scegliere una parola-manifesto della sua produzione pittorica, di certo sarebbe libertà la cui essenza si scopre non acquisita, bensì riconosciuta dentro di sè nel condividere le bellezze stranianti ed insieme reali delle campagne cremasche, affini ai suggestivi mosi avvolti dalla natura fra canne acquitrine e carici filiformi in paesaggi lacustri.

È la libertà che solleva le ali di un airone, sacro agli Egizi perché simbolo di fertilità e rinascita.

Ed è ancora la libertà che delinea un profilo slanciato e leggero nel corpo, etereo e diafano nel volto di figure femminili espressive di una realtà iperuranica, incorruttibile, mistica.

In questo scenario lo spirito libero di Ornella Ogliari trasale in un impeto creativo.

Listening to the Artist present his works, one seems to glimpse a flutter of wings, restless at the suddenness of time that changes everything and satisfied by the breath of freedom breathed by life.

If one wanted to choose a word-manifesto of his pictorial production, it would certainly be freedom whose essence is discovered not to be acquired, but rather recognized within oneself in sharing the alienating and at the same time real beauties of the Crema countryside, similar to the evocative moses surrounded by nature between marsh reeds and thread-like sedges in lake landscapes.

It is the freedom that raises the wings of a heron, sacred to the Egyptians because it is a symbol of fertility and rebirth.

And it is still freedom that outlines a slender and light profile in the body, ethereal and diaphanous in the face of female figures expressive of a hyperuranic, incorruptible, mystical reality.

In this scenario the free spirit of Ornella Ogliari leaps into a creative impetus.

Questo dipinto mi ha colpita per l’originalità della sua realizzazione: la tela che esce dalla cornice ad evocare la sublimazione dell’anima in una fusione tra pittura e realtà. Con quest’originale trattamento l’arte e la bellezza dichiarano propria prepotente onnipresenza che non si lascia ingabbiare dai confini.

This painting struck me for the originality of its creation: the canvas that comes out of the frame to evoke the sublimation of the soul in a fusion between painting and reality. With this original treatment, art and beauty declare their overpowering omnipresence that does not allow itself to be caged by borders.

Ornella Ogliari ha partecipato a numerosi eventi in Italia ed all’estero ed è presente in alcune pubblicazioni importanti quali il Catalogo dell’Arte Mondadori n. 56 e n. 57.

Poliedrica nella sua ricerca volge l’attenzione in maniera prevalente alla figura femminile, all’osservazione ed allo studio minuzioso della natura. La natura per lei è forza vitale, è energia, è rinascita, è libertà; è un connubio di sensazioni profonde che Ornella riversa nelle sue opere.

Rivelando uno stile eclettico, che dal figurativo si muove verso l’espressionismo astratto, l’informale ed il materico, l’artista mantiene sempre presente la sua idea di arte quale intima riflessione del proprio “Io” e delle proprie percezioni.

Ornella Ogliari has participated in numerous events in Italy and abroad and is present in some important publications such as the Catalog of Mondadori Art n. 56 and n. 57.

Multifaceted in her research, she turns her attention predominantly to the female figure, to the observation and meticulous study of nature. For her, nature is life force, it is energy, it is rebirth, it is freedom; it is a combination of profound sensations that Ornella pours into her works.

Revealing an eclectic style, which moves from the figurative towards abstract expressionism, the informal and the material, the artist always keeps in mind the idea of her art as an intimate reflection of her own “I” and her own perceptions.

Artista milanese, dopo aver frequentato IED e vari corsi, si è perfezionata anche nel restauro e nella decorazione dei mobili con artigiani professionisti. La sua è una pittura che risente sicuramente delle ricerche degli artisti del passato, concentrandosi molto sulla scomposizione del colore e della luce, sapendo, però, cogliere nuove prospettive che danno un taglio moderno alle sue opere, sopratutto dal punto di vista compositivo. Sia nelle opere di paesaggio che in quelle figurative, l’artista mostra una notevole attenzione verso la sfera delle emozioni che riesce a rappresentare con grande abilità, dimostrando padronanza tecnica e notevoli doti introspettive.

Milanese artist, after having attended IED and various courses, she also specialized in the restoration and decoration of furniture with professional artisans. Her painting is certainly influenced by the research of artists of the past, focusing heavily on the decomposition of color and light, while knowing how to grasp new perspectives that give a modern edge to her works, especially from a compositional point of view. In both landscape and figurative works, the artist shows considerable attention to the sphere of emotions which she manages to represent with great skill, demonstrating technical mastery and notable introspective skills.

Mostra Il dito d’onore / Exhibition the finger of honor

La tela ridotta a brandelli come il cuore di chi si sente tradito dagli amici, da un sistema dove il fango sembra sommergere tutto. Timidamente compare il gesto vituperato e denigrato dai soloni che siedono su presunte cattedre accademiche. Al centro graffiti, segni senza controllo, linee senza guida che paiono tempesta dell’animo.

Ornella sceglie la dimensione che unisce il figurativo all’astratto per dire la sua. Non si tratta solamente di questioni estetiche o tecniche; il giudizio di chi osserva può essere critico o meno, nel legittimo diritto di espressione libera del proprio pensiero. È l’idea di fondo che emerge, un’idea di ferma presa di posizione lasciando al prossimo il diritto di replica sempre nel rispetto che spesso, soprattutto da parte di taluni artisti, viene a mancare.

Il confronto fermo e onesto è un’urgenza che oggi il mondo dell’arte necessita per risultare credibile. Una semplice tela diventa ancora manifesto: ad ogni tempo la sua arte, ad ogni arte la sua libertà recitava la Secessione Viennese…

The canvas reduced to shreds like the heart of those who feel betrayed by friends, by a system where mud seems to submerge everything. Timidly appears the gesture reviled and denigrated by the soloists who sit on presumed academic chairs. At the center are graffiti, uncontrolled signs, unguided lines that seem like a storm of the soul.

Ornella chooses the dimension that combines the figurative with the abstract to express her opinion. It’s not just about aesthetic or technical issues; the judgment of the observer can be critical or not, in the legitimate right of free expression of one’s thoughts. It is the basic idea that emerges, an idea of taking a firm position, leaving others the right to reply, always with the respect that is often lacking, especially on the part of some artists.

Firm and honest discussion is an urgency that the art world needs today to be credible. A simple canvas once again becomes a manifesto: at every time her art, at every art her freedom recited the Viennese Secession…

La femminilità sta a Ornella Ogliari come l’Arte sta alla creazione! L’opera dell’artista è senza dubbio un omaggio spassionato e appassionante all’intimità. “Pudicizia” questo è il titolo, è un viaggio ispirato dalla riservatezza e dal pudore, quindi da un’umiltà che si espone al giudizio degli altri non come un atto di modestia sentimentale, ma come una manifestazione del candore in tutta la sua tenerezza, insita soprattutto nello sguardo del personaggio ritratto che pur essendo appena intuito riflette in maniera carismatica la misura esatta del segreto e del mistero imponderabile che circonda lo charme.

The artist’s work is undoubtedly a dispassionate and passionate homage to intimacy. “Pudicizia” this is the title, it is a journey inspired by confidentiality and modesty, therefore by a humility that exposes itself to the judgment of others not as an act of sentimental modesty, but as a manifestation of candor in all its tenderness, inherent above all in the gaze of the character portrayed which, despite being barely intuited, reflects in a charismatic way the exact measure of the secret and imponderable mystery that surrounds charm.

Una continua ricerca e sperimentazione ha portato l’artista a rese poliedriche e singolari, figurative e concettuali. Continuous research and experimentation has led the artist to multifaceted and singular, figurative and conceptual renderings. The hand ranges across landscape scenes with a delicate and sober impact, framed and studied with complex and articulated material solutions. “Creo ispirandomi a ciò che vedo e sento in natura mentre faccio passeggiate in campagna dove vivo: elementi, rumori … Anche la musica è spesso fonte di ispirazione. Mi piace creare a 360° fra quadri, oggetti, monili, elementi di arredo e tanto altro, perché tutto scorre e prendo e creo quello che in quel momento sono e sento”.

Le parole dell’artista spiegano il suo mondo variegato, ricco di stili, materiali (spesso recuperati da tessuti dismessi) e sperimentazioni. Anzi la parola sperimentazione sembra quella che più si avvicina al mondo della Ogliari.

In Creatività a 360° si può ammirare una raccolta di circa cinquanta opere che mettono a nudo le emozioni e gli stati d’animo trasmessi attraverso la percezione della natura. In esposizione a formare le opere polimateriche non mancano proprio elementi naturali come rami e foglie. “Sono quelli che il vento e l’acqua staccano dagli alberi e cespugli e che trovo sul terreno”, spiega l’autrice nella presentazione della mostra.

“I create inspired by what I see and hear in nature while taking walks in the countryside where I live: elements, noises… Music is also often a source of inspiration. I like to create 360° between paintings, objects, jewellery, furnishing elements and much more, because everything flows and I take and create what I am and feel in that moment”.

The artist’s words explain his varied world, rich in styles, materials (often recovered from discarded fabrics) and experiments. Indeed, the word experimentation seems to be the one that comes closest to Ogliari’s world.

In Creativity at 360° you can admire a collection of around fifty works that lay bare the emotions and moods transmitted through the perception of nature. On display to form the multi-material works there is no shortage of natural elements such as branches and leaves. “They are the ones that the wind and water detach from the trees and bushes and that I find on the ground,” explains the author in the presentation of the exhibition.

Ornella è impegnata in una ricerca continua dell’Action Painting (“pittura d’azione”), a volte chiamata astrazione gestuale, oppure genericamente espressionismo astratto, che è uno stile di pittura nella quale il colore viene fatto gocciolare spontaneamente, lanciato o macchiato sulla tela, invece che applicato con attenzione.

L’opera che ne risulta enfatizza l’atto fisico della pittura stessa.

Nelle opere di Ornella si sposta l’enfasi dall’oggetto alla lotta stessa, essendo il dipinto finito solo la manifestazione fisica, una specie di residuo, del lavoro effettivo dell’arte, che è nell’atto o processo della creazione del dipinto.

In questa ricerca vi è  la ridefinizione dell’arte come un atto piuttosto che come un oggetto, come un processo piuttosto che un prodotto finito.

Nelle sue opere riscontriamo il cosiddetto “dripping”: l’artista dipinge facendo colare dall’alto vernici e colori su supporti di grandi dimensioni creando texture di colori diversi.

Vi è l’abolizione  del  quadro dal cavalletto,   maturando assai presto uno stile tutto suo.
Non solo Action Painting ma opere realizzate con i materiali più disparati con un riferimento fortissimo agli elementi della natura. Ecco quindi opere strettamente legate alla natura.

Siamo di fronte ad una artista con una grande sensibilità attenta al mondo circostante. L’arte di Ornella non mostra né esprime una realtà oggettiva o soggettiva, ma libera una tensione che in grande quantità si è accumulata nell’artista. È azione non ideata e non progettata nei modi di esecuzione e negli effetti finali. Esprime le emozioni dell’artista in una società dove tutto è progettato; è reazione violenta dell’artista-intellettuale contro l’artista-tecnico.

Ornella is engaged in continuous research into Action Painting, sometimes called gestural abstraction, or generically abstract expressionism, which is a style of painting in which color is spontaneously dripped, thrown or stained on the canvas, rather than carefully applied.

The resulting work emphasizes the physical act of painting itself.

In Ornella’s works the emphasis shifts from the object to the struggle itself, the finished painting being only the physical manifestation, a kind of residue, of the actual work of art, which is in the act or process of creating the painting.

In this research there is the redefinition of art as an act rather than as an object, as a process rather than a finished product.

In her works we find the so-called “dripping”: the artist paints by dripping paints and colors onto large supports from above, creating textures of different colors.

There is the abolition of the painting from the easel, very quickly developing a style that is entirely her own.
Not just Action Painting but works created with the most disparate materials with a very strong reference to the elements of nature. Here are works closely linked to nature.

We are faced with an artist with a great sensitivity attentive to the surrounding world. Ornella’s art does not show or express an objective or subjective reality, but releases a tension that has accumulated in large quantities in the artist. It is an unconceived and unplanned action in terms of execution and final effects. It expresses the emotions of the artist in a society where everything is designed; it is a violent reaction of the artist-intellectual against the artist-technician.
